Welcome to Day 5 of FIMM the Five-days introduction to Meditation and mindfulness program conducted by Bell the Mind.

You learned to notice your sensations, your emotions, your thoughts, come back to your breath when you notice you have ben distracted. And learnt about the self control that you need to cultivate. Although it seems so simple you realised that it is not very easy.

If there is one thing only that you can take away from this program – it would be to practise practise and practise. Without beating yourself up when you lose track or become judgemental.

Observing you mind for a few minutes is like running for a few minutes for your body. It may make you feel good, but it is not enough. Once you make observing your mind everyday a habit then slowly you can intensify your practice. And that will help you to really look within see your mind and make changes in every area of your life whether it is to eat well, be more productive, acquire healthy habits and enjoy better relationships and cope with changes and thing that you cannot control.
