Working from home

Working from home has become such a common expression these days. Earlier, it was for people who were independent and worked out of their home office. But now due to the pandemic, nearly everyone works from home. Unless of course, their nature of work demands their presence.

Working from home has its own set of challenges and advantages. Like, it saves the trouble of travelling to work – especially during the monsoons. It saves travel time and energy.

But there are challenges in the form of distractions like tidying the home or doing the laundry or dishes that might loom over your heads at work. Additionally, we also have food of our choice available in our fridges and kitchens. We are stuck in one place but our mind can visit so many different places while we are working.

Being mindful at work and learning a few strategies can help one to face these challenges. And also smoothen the transition from home to work and back home.
